Gold and Gems
How to Get Gems and Gold in Everblue Dungeons
Last updated:
Build your Gems and Gold balance by combining dungeon income with rewards you have already unlocked. Choose extra sources based on whether you need weapon summons, a pet, shop purchases or equipment upgrades.
Claim completed quests, available level rewards and Item Index Gems first. Then run a dungeon you can clear and collect its chests before the Collection countdown ends. Attack breakable crystal clusters for extra Gems, or sell unwanted weapons, armor and potions at Sell Items for Gold. Keep spare weapons if you need Merge XP instead.

Choose Sources for the Currency You Need
| Source | Currency | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Dungeon combat and completion | Gold and Gems | Earn currency while progressing through runs. |
| Treasure chests | Gold and Gems | Collect additional rewards during your dungeon run and post-battle Collection period. |
| Completed quests | Gold and Gems, depending on the quest | Claim finished objectives and choose new goals that overlap with your next run. |
| Daily Rewards | Gold or Gems, depending on the card | Collect the available login reward. |
| Level milestones | Gold and Gems among the rewards | Visit Aldric after reaching eligible character levels. |
| Item Index | Gems | Claim collection rewards after discovering items. |
| Breakable dungeon crystals | Gems | Attack clusters you find inside dungeons. |
| Selling spare items | Gold | Convert unwanted weapons, armor and potions into spending money. |
Gems fund weapon summons and pet purchases. Gold pays for Gold Shop purchases, crafting and cooking. Armor enhancement also uses these currencies, while reforging requires both.
For repeat farming, choose a dungeon you can finish consistently so you can reach its post-battle chests as well as earn combat rewards. Use the dungeon requirements and entry guide to choose an accessible run.
Claim Completed Tasks Before Starting Another Run
Collect rewards you have already earned before farming more currency:
- Open Quest and select Claim All to collect available rewards from completed tasks.
- Find Aldric, the Level Milestone NPC on the lobby steps near Neko-Chub. Press E at Claim and collect eligible character-level rewards.
- Open the reward icon above the lobby currency display, select Daily Rewards, and claim the available card before its Claim before timer expires. Day 1 gives 2,500 Gold; after claiming, the card changes to Claimed and shows Next in.
- Find the glowing Item Index / Crystal Artisan interaction beside the stairs. Press E — Open Index, then select Claim All to collect unlocked discovery Gems.
Daily objectives to combine with farming
Complete Loadout Shuffle in town, then work on Damage Dealer and Daily Wave Clearance during dungeon runs. The rewards below belong to each completed quest. For Daily Wave Clearance, stay alive until each wave ends; its progress can accumulate across runs before the daily reset.
Use the quest guide for other objectives and counting rules, the reward guide for reward-card conditions, or the Item Index guide to look up discoveries.

Collect Chests and Attack Gem Crystals
Collect chests before the timer ends
After the battle, move between the chests while Collection period ends in counts down. Approach each chest and use Open Chest wherever that interaction appears. Collect the rewards before the displayed countdown expires, then return to town to claim any newly completed quests.
Break crystal clusters for extra Gems
- Look for an upright cluster with several pointed crystals. One location is beside the cavern wall in the clearing before the wooden double doors, with a chest near the doors behind it.
- Approach the cluster and attack it with your weapon until it breaks. The cluster can change color as you attack.
- Collect the Gems awarded when it breaks.
Damage dealt affects the Gem yield. 20 Gems is one crystal-break payout example, rather than a fixed reward for every cluster.
Sell for Gold or Keep Weapons for Merge XP
Choose what you need before clearing out your inventory:
- Need Gold: sell unwanted weapons, armor or potions.
- Need weapon levels: keep spare weapons to use as Merge materials for a weapon you are retaining.
To sell, approach the town's Sell Items stall beside Merge, press E — Sell Items, select the unwanted items, and sell them for Gold. Lock useful items before selecting what to discard.
Merge consumes spare weapons to give experience to the retained weapon, so selling those weapons trades away that upgrade material. Read the inventory and item-protection guide for managing your selection.
Plan Spending Around Your Next Upgrade
| Goal | Currency budget | What to consider |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Weapons summons | 500 Gems for one; 5,000 Gems for ten | Ten summons cost the same as ten singles. |
| Cat pet | 250 Gems per pet | A low-cost purchase for an item drop-rate bonus. |
| Yin or Yan pet | 2,000 Gems per pet | Choose Yin for damage or Yan for critical chance. |
| Reforging | Both Gems and Gold; cost depends on the selected item | Reserve both currencies before rolling. Paying does not guarantee a higher grade. |
| Gold Shop potions | Gold; Major Luck Potion costs 7,000 and Ultimate Luck Potion costs 12,000 | These Luck Potions increase pity progress for the next ten summons. |
- Saving for a weapon: keep Gems for summons. Spend Gold on Luck Potions when faster pity progress fits your summon plan; those potions increase pity progress rather than directly increasing weapon drop rates by the listed percentage. See summoning costs, rates and pity.
- Buying a pet: reserve its purchase price before spending Gems on more rolls. A 2,000-Gem Yin or Yan costs the same as four single summons and gives you the chosen pet. Compare pets by goal and budget before buying.
- Improving an item you already use: check the selected upgrade's resource requirements first. For example, reforging a level 18, four-star Electro Blade costs 1,750 Gems and 14,000 Gold per roll. Use the selected item's displayed cost to set your budget.
Pick the purchase or upgrade that solves your current problem, then farm the currency it requires.
