Everblue Dungeons Leveling Guide and Unlock Milestones
Last updated:
Character levels open new dungeon modes, maps, and companion slots. Plan your next unlock while keeping your weapons, stat points, and milestone rewards moving alongside it.
Fight enemies and complete dungeons to gain character XP. Your main unlocks are Goblin Hideout at level 1, Boss Mode and Companion Slot I at 15, Witch Ruin at 16, Elf Library and Slot II at 35, Slot III at 50, and Loot Rush at 60. Each character level-up gives 3 stat points. Spend them in Profile → Stats, claim level rewards from Aldric, and use XP Boost (1h) for 60 minutes of 2× XP.

Gain Character XP Without Losing Track of Weapon Levels
Fight enemies and finish dungeon runs to raise your character level. Favor a dungeon you can complete consistently; if a new unlock repeatedly defeats you, improve your equipment and spend your available stat points before pushing further.
Track these two progression systems separately:
- Character level determines access to level-gated modes, maps, and companion slots, and earns stat points.
- Weapon level grows separately and unlocks that weapon's skills. Read the weapon-level changes on the completion screen separately from your character level.
If your goal is a weapon skill, follow the weapon-leveling guide for combat XP, merging, and enhancement options.
Leveling up does not automatically restore health. Keep managing your HP during a run rather than relying on the next level-up to heal.
Progression Milestones from Level 1 to 60
| Character level | Unlock | What to do next |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Story Mode and Goblin Hideout | Start with an available chapter and build character and weapon levels through dungeon runs. |
| 15 | Boss Mode and Companion Slot I | Add boss encounters to your options and prepare your first companion preset. |
| 16 | Witch Ruin | Move into the next Story map when your build can handle it. |
| 35 | Elf Library and Companion Slot II | Explore the new map and prepare a second companion preset. |
| 50 | Companion Slot III | Prepare your third companion preset. |
| 60 | Loot Rush entrance | Meet the entrance's character-level requirement. |
These are character-level requirements. Individual chapters or acts can still be locked after you reach a map or mode's level requirement.
Rec PwrLvl is a recommendation, not a hard entry requirement. For example, Witch Ruin Chapter I recommends 25,000 power, but you can enter below that figure once you meet its level requirement. Treat the recommendation as a difficulty signal when deciding whether to advance or strengthen your build first.
Use Start Game → E Configure in town to see your available dungeon choices. The dungeon guide covers chapter selection, parties, and completing a run.
An unlocked companion slot also needs an available weapon and full outfit before you can finish a preset. Prepare those alongside the level milestone, then follow the companion setup guide to save the loadout.
Use XP Boosts During Your Runs
XP Boost (1h) gives 2× XP for 60 minutes after use. Combined XP boosts have a 2.5× modifier cap. Use a boost when you are ready for a stretch of dungeon runs so your combat time benefits from the effect.
You can obtain XP Boosts through:
- Quest rewards: claim completed quests that award the boost.
- Daily Rewards: claim the XP Boost card once it unlocks.
- Release Rewards: claim eligible XP Boost cards while the release event is available.
- Crafting: select XP Boost (1h) in the Crafting menu and meet its recipe requirements before crafting.
Open the reward icon above your currency display to reach Daily Rewards and Release Rewards. A Locked card must unlock before you can claim it. See reward menus and claiming for those entrances, or the crafting guide for recipe controls.
Spend Stat Points and Claim Level Rewards
Spend your stat points
Each character level-up gives 3 stat points.
- Open Profile → Stats.
- Set the allocation quantity using the control above the stat list.
- Click + beside Max Health, Damage Reduction, or Damage Increase to invest your points.
Choose Max Health or Damage Reduction when survival is holding back your runs. Favor Damage Increase when you can survive comfortably and want more damage. Raising maximum health does not necessarily refill current HP. For equipment combinations and more detailed allocation advice, see builds and stats.
Claim your level rewards
Level rewards require a visit to Aldric, the Level Milestone NPC on the building steps near Neko-Chub, between the nearby Gold Dealer and weapon-enhancement services.
- Follow the white ground route when Check Level Rewards appears, or go directly to Aldric.
- Approach him and press E at the Claim prompt.
- Collect eligible milestone rewards and check that they show Claimed.
Visit after gaining levels so unlocked rewards do not sit unclaimed. The rewards guide also covers Daily Rewards and Release Rewards.
Character, Weapon, Pet and Armor Level Caps
| Progression track | Level cap | Applies to |
|---|---|---|
| Character | 60 | The game version with the Lv.60 MAX character display |
| Weapon | 100 | Zanpakuto's weapon-level track |
| Pet | 50 | Yin and Yan |
| Armor | 50 | Berserker armor |
These are separate level tracks. Reaching a character milestone does not set your weapon, pet, or armor to that level. Continue weapon upgrades for weapon growth, use pet feeding for pet XP, and follow the armor guide for armor enhancement.
